As qualified members of the British Horological Institute and members of the British Watch and Clock Makers Guild the major insurance companies are happy to accept our valuations of clocks and watches for insurance purposes. Whilst "some kind of an idea"of a clocks likely value is often possible simply from good photographs and a description, it is not possible to give a proper valuation of a clock without a hands on physical inspection of it. We are happy to receive photographs and a description of clients clocks and from those, will let you know if the clock warrants a full hands on inspection prior to issuing a proper written valuation.
